Maggie Mae Dale

With nearly 20 years of experience in the bar scenes of New York and Los Angeles, the founder, Maggie has a deep passion for cocktails and hospitality. A 2023 USBG World Class finalist and named one of California's Best Bartenders (LA Drinks Guide), she is excited to bring her passion back home to the Midwest to create fun & innovative beverages that reflect not only her travels, but her roots to home.

  • Delta 9 THC (Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol) is 100% pure THC extracted from hemp. It has a psychoactive effect or “high”.The Delta-9 THC in our products is 100% hemp-derived. If you’ve never consumed a THC product before, we would recommend starting off  slow with half of a serving and see how you feel. We recommend consulting with your doctor before consuming any cannabinoid products.

  • Midwest Famous products source all of its cannabis derived ingredients from hemp plants which have been federally legalized since 2018. Delta 9 THC is legal at the federal level. However, each state has specific laws regarding Delta 9 THC either explicitly banning it or regulating it.

    Note: In the states of CA, RI, VA, WA, AK, HI, ND, SD, CO, WY, MT, ID, OR Delta-9 content is allowable by law. Midwest Famous cannot ship any products with any amount of Delta-9 content to these states.

  • Because we are a federally legal product, you may purchase Midwest Famous online and get it delivered to your doorstep. We also sell in many retail locations. If your local store doesn't carry it, have them contact us for them to carry our products.

  • Unfortunately, Yes. Consuming Delta-9 will almost definitely make you fail a drug test for THC.

  • The effects of THC can differ significantly from person to person, influenced by various factors such as dosage, tolerance and metabolism. You may experience euphoria, relaxation, heightened motivation, alertness, amusement, increased appetite, or enhanced creativity. While THC can induce a calming and pleasurable sensation, excessive consumption may lead to feelings of anxiety or paranoia.

    To ensure a positive initial experience, we recommend to start with a conservative THC dosage. The key is to start modestly, allowing the natural ingredients and premium cannabinoids to guide you to your desired state of relaxation and joy.

    We recommend drinking half and then waiting, or browsing the recommended initial dosage in our product descriptions. Cannabis beverages kick in quickly once you take a sip.

  • Cannabis edibles undergo a unique metabolic process. When consumed, they are metabolized in the liver, where THC is converted into a more potent compound known as 11-hydroxy-THC. This transformation takes time, often resulting in edibles taking anywhere from 45 minutes to two hours to take effect. As a result, it's essential for individuals to be patient and mindful of the delayed onset when consuming edibles, as the effects can be more intense and long-lasting compared to other methods of consumption like smoking or vaping.

    If you’re new to edibles, Start Slow, baby. You can always eat more, but you can’t eat less. Do not exceed 1 serving within a 6-hour period until you better understand your preferred dose. We recommend starting with ½ of a 5mg gummy for new cannabis users.

  • Traditional edibles (like gummies or chocolate bars) are typically higher dose and can take anywhere from 45 minutes to two-plus hours to kick in. Why so long?

    Traditional edibles are typically oil-based, meaning the cannabinoids are absorbed directly into your bloodstream. Cannabis-infused beverages are typically infused with a water-soluble formulation** meaning the cannabinoids are absorbed through your mouth then your tongue then the digestive tract. The immediate absorption in your mouth means you can feel the effects 10 to 15 minutes later. Consumers new to cannabis might feel effects more immediately or intensely.The perk of this is that you’ll quickly know how you feel so you’re in control of your buzz. Take a few sips, wait, and adjust until you know what’s best for you.
